Paint Night with Zornitza!
As every year, Zornitza hosted a charitable event dedicated to supporting causes that resonate with the ensemble and raising funds for our annual concert.
This year we settled on Paint Night, as we wanted to embrace the theme of creativity, teamwork, and self-expression through art.
The turnout exceeded our expectations, with every spot in the room filled! Guided by the lovely instructor, Hristina, guests enthusiastically painted their own tree of life.
The atmosphere mirrored the positivity and joy of all the guests- relaxed, happy, and brimming with creativity. Everyone enjoyed expressing themselves, learning new skills, and socializing over sips and snacks.
In the end, everyone shared their unique take on Gustav Klint’s original tree of life. It is safe to say each participant left with a sense of accomplishment and pride in their work!
We even had a special furry guest join us- Oliver, who added an extra layer of fun to the night.
This special night would not have been possible without all of you who participated! We are so grateful for your support of our cause and for contributing to the success of the event.
Special thanks to Hristina and Dania for generously donating their time and talent, making the night both fun and therapeutic. You left the group feeling so inspired.
And of course, a big thank you for your donations in support of Zornitza’s causes this year to those who could not physically make it to paint night.
Thanks to your donations, we achieved our goal, raising $612 of which: $204 was donated to Children’s Hospital Vancouver, and $204 to Angels for Bulgaria to support their cause “Donate medical food for ill children in need”. The remaining $204 went towards supporting ensemble Zornitza in purchasing new costumes for our upcoming concert and new dance debut!
We are so grateful for our community that supports our passion on and off the stage. You make everything possible!
