ABOUT TEOMAN
Teoman Amishev was born in the United States and grew up in both New Zealand and Vancouver, where he developed an early interest in the arts. He is currently studying Acting at Vancouver Film School, pursuing his passion for performance and storytelling. Outside of school, Teoman enjoys working on filmmaking and VFX projects, riding his electric skateboard, and playing video games.

ABOUT DANCING
With both of his parents being Bulgarian, Teoman grew up speaking Bulgarian at home and has always remained connected to the Bulgarian community. He began exploring the world of Bulgarian folk dance in late 2024, finding that it not only strengthens his connection to his cultural heritage but also provides an enjoyable way to stay active. Being a member of the Zornitza Dance Ensemble has given him the opportunity to celebrate Bulgarian traditions in Canada, and he plans to continue his involvement with the group for as long as he resides in Vancouver.
