When she's not dancing, you can find Darina either studying in the SUB at SFU pursuing a degree joint majoring in Communications and Interactive Arts and Technology, or reading and listening to music.
She loves a wide genre of books, from fantasy to romance, and unless she's reading, you will always find her with a pair of headphones on. And lets not forget about hockey!

ABOUT DANCING
Darina is a 19 year old dancer who has been dancing Bulgarian Folk Dance since she was 8 years old. She dances with the goal of maintaining her love of rhythm and simply a love for Bulgarian Dance. She enjoys the joy she sees from herself, her fellow dancers, and anyone they perform for when they dance. She also loves that it allows her to strengthen her connection with her Bulgarian roots and keeps her involved in the community. Aside from Bulgarian dance, Darina has also danced various other styles of dance such as Hip Hop, Jazz, and Musical Theatre.
